ART PORTFOLIO
As an artist, I am currently focused on pottery and ceramics with a forte in embossed designs, sgraffito portraits, glaze pencil portraits, and sectioned kitchenware. In addition to my work in pottery, I'm also versed in digital art, ranging from logo design to digital portrait illustration. My roots are in traditional visual art, particularly portraiture using the mediums of colored pencil, marker, and pen. I enjoy the physical feeling of throwing pottery, drawing against paper, and carving figures using the sgraffito technique. Sensations experienced while doing the strokes in an eyebrow or blending colors to create a skin tone excite me! There is nothing like seeing all of my efforts come together as one in the end and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to show my process and final results to the world through social media and gallery showings.
